FEBI IAIN Parepare— The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) at IAIN Parepare held a socialization session on its Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMTS) during the Academic and Student Culture Orientation (PBAK) to welcome 523 new students on Wednesday (August 28, 2024). The event was lively and filled with enthusiasm amid the excitement of the new students.
During the session, the Dean of FEBI, Muzdalifah Muhammadun, warmly welcomed all new students. She introduced FEBI’s vision: “To Become an Excellent, Integrative, and Multidisciplinary Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business with International Standards Based on Cultural and Islamic Acculturation by 2039.” Additionally, Muzdalifah shared an inspirational message with the tagline “Maufe Na Malebbi,” meaning fortunate and charismatic, to motivate students on their academic journey..
Vice Dean I, Andi Bahri, also delivered an insightful presentation on the opportunities and challenges students would face during their time at FEBI. “Studying at FEBI offers immense opportunities, but there are also challenges to overcome. With proper preparation, you can surely achieve success,” he stated, igniting the enthusiasm of the new students.
The event was also attended by Heads of Study Programs, who introduced the vision, mission, and career prospects of their respective programs. Their engaging and informative presentations inspired the new students to delve deeper into the programs they had chosen. The atmosphere became even more lively with cheers and applause echoing throughout the room, reflecting the excitement and pride of being part of FEBI IAIN Parepare.
Through this socialization, new students not only gained an understanding of FEBI’s VMTS but also received a clear roadmap to achieve excellence during their education at FEBI IAIN Parepare. (mma)
